Packed and ready to go
After much packing and repacking and "culling" we were able to get our suitcases down to a weight that won't make the airline checkout persons eyes bug out when they try to lift the bags onto the scale. I know it might look like it but no, we are not moving to China. We are very lucky that we have a friend in town who also adopted from China recently and she was able to come over and help us out with packing. Thanks for the help Sandy!
This is me holding my luggage allowance.
Shortly we will be flying off to Vancouver where we will meet part of our group and go out for dinner. It is quite rainy and windy out today so we have been telling ourselves that we are just going on a nice 1 hour roller coaster ride. Ya right, bring on the Gravol.

Well the long wait is finally here. You must all be so excited - too bad Sophie is too young to know what a beautiful new life you will give her in your family. Looking forward to receiving all your news, hope everything goes smoothly for you. Just came back from a week in Mexico on Jan 6th. Good luck, safe travel and we'll be in touch when you return.
Love

We are always looking at the clock, trying to figure out what time it is there, and smile at the fact that you have finally met Sophie. You are all so lucky to have found each other. Looking forward to your updated website and to see more pictures.
