The Pumpkin Patch

It was a chilly afternoon with fog drifting about and spooky shadows. Basically a perfect day to go to the pumpkin patch. The farm had a hay bale maze and DD had lots of fun running through it and getting covered in hay (and hay is surprisingly hard to get off fleece). Next it was off to the patch to pick out not 1 but 3 pumpkins. Of course all the good ones by the gate were all gone so we had to venture far to get to “the good ones”. I bet you can guess who ended up carrying 35 pounds of pumpkin across the rough and muddy field.
The farm also had many apples trees so everybody got to pick a fresh apple as atreat. They were very tasty!
