Fright Night

The night was cold and crisp and the smell of spent gunpowder hung in the air. Little monsters and goblins came to the door asking for treats and a few not so little monsters came as well. The older ones were likely just casing the pumpkin supply on the porch to see if there were any suitable for exploding down the street later that night. As you can see from the picture we spent a bit of time this year carving so it seemed a shame for them to explode for a few seconds of thrill by some teenage hoodlums. The alternative however is the compost heap so not much of a future either way.

We figure with our new hair we should be starting up a band. DD looked adorable in her little ladybug costume and really enjoyed handing out candy.
