CCAA Update
The latest update from CCAA (China Center of Adoption Afairs) is that the matching process has been completed for applicants with a Log in Date on or before July 13, 2005. Our log in date is August 24 2005. The CCAA seems to process in batches and recently they have been processing in batches of 2 week blocks. Unfortunately the batches only come out once per month so the wait is getting forever longer. Assuming the 2 week batches of referrals continue at once per month then we are looking at an end of October referral. With travel typically 6-8 weeks after referral we could be heading to China in mid to late December or even early in the new year. Hopefully the process will speed up!
We have added a few extra little things to jazz up the blog such as a counter and a Bejiing clock. Sorry for the commercial stuff they make you ad.

Hi Larry, Helen and Cassandra. I am sitting here in Coquitlam (I work for Leisure and Parks) with your dad and grandad, Fred! I use to work at Dogwood Pavilion (seniors centre) and Fred was of course, one of my favourite members! I bumped into him at Lougheed Mall yesterday and told him the news about my adoption to China. And then he shared the news about you! Our logged in date is March 2006 so we have a ways to go. We also have a biological daughter who is 3 1/2 years old. Would love to keep in touch with you. By the way, we visit Quadra Island every year (our relatives own Taku Resort).
