The following are some photographs from our first day in China. I hope to post some more in the next while including a picture of "gotcha day".

Beijing airport 16 hours later and feeling a bit weary

Room door at the Sino Swiss Airport hotel in Beijing. Felt a bit like a hobbit. The beds were also quite small and kinda hard.

It took us a while to figure out that in order to get lighting in the room we had to stick our room card into this device that looked a lot like a thermostat. Good energy saving idea though.
